Wachusett Mountain Hillclimb

The Wachusett Mountain Hillclimb covers 3.7 miles and climbs 1162'. The race will start on Mile Hill Road in Westminster MA near the intersection of Route 140, and finish at the summit of DCR Wachusett Mountain. Rising above the surrounding forest to a height of 2006 feet, Mount Wachusett stands as a unique landmark within the central New England landscape. From the summit, a clear day reveals views of Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire, the Berkshires to the west, and the Boston skyline to the east.

Register by April 11th and you will be automatically entered into our drawing to win a free trip in 2014. Choose between a week of spring training in Tucson Arizona, or a week of spring training in Mallorca, Spain. Each trip will include hotel accommodations for 7 days and 6 nights, breakfast and dinner every day, daily supported and guided bike rides and personalized training programs. We'll pick you up at the airport when you arrive, and return you to the airport for your flight home, but airfare is not included.

Youth Fee (for under age 20): $20 pre registration and race day registration
Race day registration and number pick up opens at 7:30AM

Prizes:
Cash prizes will be awarded for the overall top 3 men and women finishers. 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50. Prizes will also be awarded to the top finisher in each age category.
Kids Race
The kids race will begin at 11:15am, to allow all riders to get back to the ski area. The race length is roughly 6/10ths of a mile and will include a small hill. Age groups will be 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 years of age. Parent or Guardian must accompany the young racers to sign in and fill out the registration and release waivers. Awards will be given to all riders. Cost is will be $10 per child, this will cover their lunch.
